The Brief
We were approached by Dandelion Clock Communications, a brand communications agency, to create a visual identity for a new organisation representing the views of Dorset General Practitioners when key decisions are being made on the wider long term goals for health and care services in Dorset.
The Brand Identity
We worked to the brand proposition and the ‘message house’ created by the communications agency which gave us a clear direction from which to design the logo and visual language. Highlighting the idea of ‘giving the group a voice’, the logo illustrates working together as a team and creating a united front to represent the alliance of GP’s.
We created a simple colour palette representing the colours of Dorset from the hills and fields to the coast, taking the base colour from the NHS palette to build on the familiarity of the instantly recognised medical brand.
The Website and Marketing Material
We created some simple illustrations to tell the story across the website and used the logo to create repeated patterns to add some design. We then created the simple Squarespace website, the identity for the DGPA social channels, some stationery and communication templates and some printed marketing materials.
