Simone Thomas is a respected and authority in the world of hair health and wellness. Sharing her knowledge as a leading hair loss consultant and nutrition advisor, Simone has built an enviable reputation through her hair salon, hair loss clinic and multi-award-winning supplements range.

The Brief

Simone Thomas started her business with her hair salon and hair loss clinic in Westbourne, Dorset.  Simone has experienced hair loss herself and as a result of her experience, she put her efforts into improving the health and experience of others suffering with similar conditions. Simone realised that her patient’s hair health could not be treated without first ‘re-setting’ the body to diagnose the health and wellbeing of her clients.

As a result of much training, experience and research, Simone developed a range of food supplements to maximise the health of her clients, boosting the immune system and treating various conditions which contribute to hair loss, treating the body as a whole, addressing her client’s wellbeing helping them to become the best versions of themselves. 

Simone approached us, as her existing brand experts for her salons, to grow and manage her brand identity and develop the award winning range of food supplements and vitamins both for the UK and recently the US market.

 

The Brand Identity

The origins of Simone’s brand go back to her modelling days. She wanted to use the typography which first started her on her journey to realise the Simone Thomas brand. We refreshed the brand to give it wider appeal and added a fresh colour palette. We then built a set of brand guidelines to communicate the identity through the entire business and to all associated partners.  

Alongside the identity, we also developed a tone of voice to define how the brand should sound in written communications, we worked with digital designers ‘Push Creative’ to build the website. We also designed labelling and packaging for the range. We also design both e-books and the cover of Simone’s best-selling book ‘Healthy Hair, Happy Body’ as well as point of sale and display materials for retailers. We also designed retail brochures and look-books to communicate the range and the benefits to customers. This combination was then rolled out across exhibition graphics and artwork for trade shows. We also designed the Amazon site for Simone Thomas Wellness in the UK and USA.

 

The Digital Application

The website structure was planned using ‘Shopify’ as a platform with optimisation in mind, to help SEO and target the most popular Google searches. This was accompanied by a suite of email templates for ongoing email marketing. We designed the initial themes and icons for social media but this soon grew to necessitate a social media agency ‘Push Group’ as alongside the website, social media is the main marketing tool.

 

The Results

We now manage the brand for Simone on an ongoing basis. In time this will grow as we plan and shape the new products when they are added to the range. Look out for the new “Pause the Meno’ protein powder and a skincare range to follow.
